Please Help, Hard to explain!
I'm not sure if this should be classified as a "technical problem" but help would be really appreciated.
Okay so here's my problem. I was out of town for 10 days and for those past 10 days I have not logged on to Guild Wars (I know, I know, it's tough )anyways, I come back into town, go online, and notice there are many new changes and updates for GW. So, I log on to GW, type in my password, it shows my characters, and I double click on one to play. Now, here is where my problem comes in:
I guess I was kicked from my guild for not being active, so whenever I try to play one of my characters whose last place they've been was my old guild hall, my computer would freeze up for a while, then start downloaded the necassary files EXTREMELY slow, and eventually just give up and freeze until I do Ctrl+Alt+Delete.
But when I log onto a character that says the last place I left him/her was Droknar's Forge or Lion's Arch, everything works great and loads quick and there are no troubles at all.
I tried PMing my old guild leader, but he doesn't answer or is never on, so I have to find a way to transport my characters who are floating in limbo now I guess, to some city where I can play them again.
Got any idea's? Anything would help, and will be very appreciated
Thanks,
IGN Ivory Trueshot

That is a strange one. I would contact GW support and see what they say.

Try running the client with the -image switch to get all the updates at once (might have to do it overnight), then see if the client stays up long enough to re-route your character to another spot.
Or, have someone invite you to their guild, and maybe you will spawn in the new guild hall.
